PROJECTS

In late 2024, we had the privilege of supporting a local Ahu Whenua Trust to capture their vision for a future Papakāinga in Hawke’s Bay.

To express their vision and articulate this to the trustees’ and future residents of the Papakāinga, we were engaged to create a 3d visualisation of what the Papakāinga could look like.

Presenting this at their open day was special, we are proud of what we created for the Trust and excited to share. The response from the Trustees was amazing and the attendees got a real feel for what could be achieved.

Below are some still shots from the video. If you would like to view the video itself, please refer to our post on LinkedIn.

So if you have a project that you feel needs that little bit extra to share your vision, please feel free to touch base, we would love to assist.

This raised safety platform, located at the start of a one-way street, is sympathetic to the Art Deco feel of Napier while also providing an important safety function of slowing turning vehicles, ensuring increased safety for people walking towards Napier’s CBD/waterfront.

Before photo and after photos of the intersection, showing the use of ACO Drain kerb product to deal with flat kerb long grades, while also avoiding the installation of new stormwater sumps, leads and manholes.

CivilTEC undertook the concept design, vehicle tracking, detailed design and construction drawings, including liaison with ACO to determine stormwater capacity requirements.
